These are photographs of waves breaking against rocks at Salt Point State Park on the California coast. I shoot them up close, so the frame is mostly filled with exploding water. Often I get soaked right after I push the shutter.

The work will be shown September 1st through 30th at the Marjorie R. Smith Gallery, Coloma Community Center, 4623 T Street, Sacramento California 95819. The gallery is open Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. There will be a 2nd Saturday reception on September 12, 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
