A professional portrait painter for 30+ years, I have much experience working from life, but I prefer working from photos as I get older. New to this area I would like to connect with a gallery or agency that would represent my conventional portrait work. I paint in a realistic style reminicsent of Europeon trained artists. Pastels or oil on canvas, I guarantee a likeness. My work is in private and corporate collections all over the world. My paintings are represented in Institutions of Higher learning such as UCLA Law School Library, Los Angeles Ca.;St. Mary's College, Moraga Ca.; Delta College Stockton Ca. as well as The Pentagon, Washington DC and The Veterans Memorial Museum in Jacksboro Tn. I do corporate work for companies such as Slakey Brothers and I have been commissioned by people in the Medical, Financial and entertainment industries. I worked as a CD and cover artist for Concord Jazz for over 20 years. My work includes florals, still-lifes, Pets, landscapes, and copies of master painters. I worked on the Monterey Peninsula for 12 years as associate painter in a popular portrait gallery called "Faces West". I do commissioned pieces but frequently paint for sales and shows when I can.
