Gallery Information

Tangent is a gallery run by three local artists, Aaron Brown, Gioia Fonda and Ianna Frisby (and owned by Michael Madsen). Tangent's mission includes showing quality, thought provoking artwork not generally supported by commercial galleries. Most of the shows at Tangent are group shows of artworks in all media surrounding a particular theme. The themes change each month and are posted on the website. We acquire the work through open call submissions and inviting previous participating artists. The work is selected by our three person committee. We are located on the corner of Franklin and 4th Ave, just a block or so south of Gunther's Ice Cream. We are open every 2nd Saturday from 6-10pm. Viewing shows after second Saturday is possible by appointment or within the hours available with our volunteer staff. Please see the website or door of the gallery for details.
